1. Motoko from Ghost in the Shell.
The artwork in all three said mangas are great, although the stories featuring these characters aren’t necessarily so hot in their respective animes. These girls are cool! But I guess it can be hard for a lot of viewers to feel as much connection between themselves and these kind of head-strong, confident, ‘uncaring’ anti-hero type gals. Sure, they’re sexy and confident- they’ve got the whole ‘Girl power’ thing going on, and are adequate eye candy for most male readers, but I can sometimes find them a bit too arrogant and off putting for me to like them any more than on a superficial basis!
